Jobwise Scoops Top Accreditation

Thursday, November 5th, 2009

Jobwise has added a Best Companies 3 star accreditation to its recent 17th placement on the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work for list.

Grant Barton managing partner of Jobwise, was invited to receive the award at the recent launch of Best Companies Accreditation which took place at The Berkeley Hotel, Knightsbridge, London in the first week of June. Accredited companies were joined by well known celebrity and Michelin Three Star Chef – Gordon Ramsay. Gordon recounted his journey to achieving his coveted three Michelin Stars, the highest accolade that can awarded to a chef.

Best Companies – the organisation that research and compile the annual Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For list, established this accreditation to acknowledge corporate excellence in the workplace. Accreditation is a focus on Workplace Engagement as an integral component of an organisation’s success and growth.

This ‘Michelin style’, elite Accreditation system recognises organisations with One Star, Two Star or Three Star status. One Star is acknowledged as Very Good, Two Stars as Excellent and Three Stars as Exceptional. Only 41 organisations throughout the UK have been accredited as a Three Star Best Company.
