Just to say thank you to Jobwise for all your help in finding me a job, I was very nervous coming into the branch but I was made to feel relaxed as soon as I started speaking to my consultant. I had never been to an agency before but I knew I would need to be tested which I was very nervous about, I was made to feel a lot calmer, my consultant had so much confidence in me which meant a lot.

It was a cold day in January when I was made redundant at the age of 47. As the sole bill payer it would be an understatement to say it was not a good day! I knew that being made redundant in my forties was going to be difficult but I noticed a temps wanted sign at Jobwise and made an appointment – good move.
My consultant immediately made me feel comfortable, the initial appointment took around 2 and a half hours and was very thorough, they went to great lengths to really get to know me, my history, my capabilities and my hopes for the future. Everyone was really welcoming, friendly and positive and importantly there was no stigma attached to being unemployed.
Having worked in sales and marketing for well over 25 years I still hoped to secure a position in that field, but in the meantime the bills had to be paid. I have been temping now for 2 years and it's been a really interesting time. Some of the jobs I have really enjoyed and I have gained lots of new skills. Throughout this time, Jobwise have never faltered in their support, they always match your needs and wants with the jobs that come in and are always prepared to listen.
About 12 months ago I decided to re-train, this meant only being able to work part time I explained this to Jobwise and they were immediately on the case, finding me days here and there. Working with Jobwise has been great and I hope it's been a win win situation for them too - I have worked hard and so have they!
