We are currently recruiting for a Account Manager for a Market leading and fast growing IT Managed Service Provider who are specialist in cloud services based in Warrington. This will be offering £35,000 basic salary and OTE £60,000.  In addition there is a fantastic benefits package and in return an opportunity to work for a fantastic company.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales within IT and Telecoms industry.  

About The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Sales, to be accountable for the retention and development of clients ensuring service delivery and existing contracts are meeting with client expectations. You are responsible for continued engagement and upselling to existing clients as well as achievement of sales targets and contract renewals. The key aim is to deliver sustained revenue growth in line with the overall business plan and targets.

Principle Accountabilities

Account Manager, you will need to be a highly focused, outgoing, motivated, proactive and confident with a strong professional image who understands the technologies being provided. As an Account Manager, you will play an active role in the continued development and growth of our business through your skills and experience. You are also expected to create new leads and prospects, providing proposals to meet and exceed customer requirements.

100% retention of clients within and beyond current contracted terms

The achievement of targeted additional sales and gross profit to existing clients through ensuring their full comprehension of all products and services available from the company

Maintain a gap analysis for all clients to maximise sales opportunities

Work independently and develop a strong and robust sales pitch, including identifying new opportunities through existing account management

To assist the support team with any information relating to client information

Ensure that client contact/visits are achieved against the defined levels and frequency and that meetings with clients are with purpose and have quality outputs

Ensure the development with clients of a forward strategy and plan, being aware and contributing to their plans and budgets

Maintain and effective profile of clients against the company standard

Utilise the company CRM system Hubspot to record all contacts and pipeline opportunities in the prescribed manner

To build a solid relationship with all key contacts (levels and disciplines) and to demonstrate personal and company integrity and to keep the client confident

To help develop clients to referees and advocates

To ensure clear communication with support staff within the company to ensure achievement of agreed SLAs and support levels to clients

Prepare accurate and timely sales forecasts from Hubspot on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis for management reports driving the quality, accuracy and process consistency in the sales teams planning efforts.

You will liaise with customers at a senior level to build relationships, understand requirements

Working collaboratively with the rest of the Sales and Marketing team with a good knowledge of the sales and marketing pipeline.

Operates as a member of the team, whose objective is to contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the Company.

Working positively with his/her colleagues and management in full accord with the policies and company objectives as instructed by management.

Maintaining contact with Special Interest Groups, for example, IT Director

Responsible contact with relevant user groups, for example, IT Directors for Information Security and the responsibility for Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability for ISO27001

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong B2B sales experience

Experience managing and developing relationships in previous roles

Degree level or equivalent; work experience can override this  

Selling cloud related products or services experience would be an advantage  

Quantifiable sales track record demonstrated by increasing responsibilities, pipeline growth and delivered in a target driven environment whilst working to strict deadlines  

Working knowledge of a proven sales model and utilising the model to drive revenue

Highly developed networking, relationship, and interpersonal skills
