We currently have a fantastic opportunity available on a graduate scheme working for a well-established and reputable company based just outside of Stockport. This is an 18 month to 2-year scheme, which will ultimately lead to Management or Account Management opportunities within the business.
This scheme will initially start within the Customer Service team paying a salary of £18,500pa and after 6 months, the role will progress onto a Level 3 Leadership and Management NVQ, which will come with a salary increase to £19,000pa.
After 1 year with the business, the role will involve more team leader responsibilities with a view to then moving to different areas of the business.
The role is working within the Customer Service team reporting to the Customer Service Manager and its main duties will include:
To provide an efficient and effective interface for customers who wish to place orders over email
Provide accurate data in relation to stock availability and delivery information
To keep an accurate up to date database of customer address records
Build strong customer relationships, resulting in loyalty and customer confidence
Clarifies what the customer expects and manages customer expectations
Manages personal workload to complete the required quantity of individual and team tasks within agreed timescales
Liaise with couriers to provide up to date and accurate delivery information
Taking payments/charitable donations via card/cheque and post
Taking Gift Aid payments with donations
Essential Skills & Experience:
Educated to degree level in a relevant field
Strong administrative skills
Excellent communication skills
Can deal with queries and complaints in polite and timely fashion
Mature, patient and tenacious attitude
Can show empathy/sympathy/understanding as and when required
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
The ability to be a good team player
The skills and experience to understand and manage client expectations
Eager to learn and progress within Marketing
MS Office, MS Excel skills – intermediate
About The Benefits:
Starting salary of £ 18,500pa with a view to being increased at each stage of the scheme
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm
