We are currently looking recruiting for a Leasehold Officer to join an well-established company based in South Manchester. This role will be temporary to cover a maternity leave for approximately 6 months. Previous experience working with Leasehold or Property Management is essential for this role. Working Monday to Friday 9AM – 5PM with weekly pay, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to get into work before Christmas.


About The Role:

· Deliver a high quality of housing services to homeowners including leaseholders and shared owners

· Ensure services achieve regulatory and legal compliance standards

· Work in line with other departments to ensure that standards, policies, practices and services are delivered in accordance with the services offered

· Achieve sustainable sales and letting with minimal void loss through effective management of leaser and tenancy obligations

· Achieve arrears targets through preventative and active management of income to minimise debt

· Provide a proactive approach to the management of Risk and Health and Safety policies and procedures

· Ensure that safe and sustainable neighbourhoods are achieved by providing preventative and active measures against Anti-Social Behaviours and complaints

· Provide assistance and support to residents and vulnerable adults

· Manage major incidents in line with contingency plans and provide support and assistance to staff and residents as required

· Build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders

· Support, coach and develop the team

· Set and monitor annual service charge budgets, which demonstrate value for money

Essential Skills & Experience

· Previous experience of Leasehold or Property Manager

· Good standard of Education to GCSE level or equivalent

· Experience setting and managing service charge budgets

· Experience of delivering Housing Management Services

· Knowledge of housing legislation and practice across different tenures

· Demonstrate a strong understanding of health and safety requirements
