We are currently recruiting for a Service Receptionist for a well established Car Dealership based in Bootle, Liverpool. This will be offering the salary up to £18’500, free parking and immediate start.
Please note the successful candidate will have experience within Car Dealership
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-6pm with ever other Saturday.
About The Role:
Maintain positive and regular communication with all dealership departments and customers
Establish and maintain a high level of vehicle product knowledge
To undertake all other tasks and responsibilities as requested by the Service Manager
To sell service hours, control workshop efficiency and manage customers through service process in line with all departmental profitability and customer satisfaction targets
Awareness of workshop availability and departmental resources in line with all sales and profitability targets
To manage all customers through the service process effectively including vehicle collections, deliveries and customer drop offs
Be able to sell the added benefits of the service department to all customers including parts and fully trained technicians
To be aware of the key competitor products and services in order to sell Motor Range
To identify and action up sell opportunities from both workshop and customer leads while maintaining a robust customer follow up process for all available hours
Ensure all customers receive an explanation of the value of their invoice and that payment is received in line with company policy
Maximise customer satisfaction and retention through the use of a structured customer follow up system while ensuring the dealership database is cleansed and updated in line with relevant legislation
To treat all service customers in a professional and friendly manner in accordance with Dealership policies
Conduct telephone calls in a courteous and friendly manner while maximising all business opportunities; qualifying customers ‘needs and encouraging them to make a service appointment
To be able to demonstrate the key elements of both verbal and non-verbal communication in order to provide an enhanced customer experience
To manage an effective and robust customer complaint process and where necessary escalate to other managers
To maintain all service diaries, associated paperwork and the dealership management system in accordance with policies
To ensure that all monies taken from customers is recorded and handled within company guidelines
To suggest to management ideas that may reduce costs, improve efficiency, productivity and resultant profit
To ensure work-in-progress is constantly reviewed and invoiced at the earliest opportunity
To order parts or other services from our suppliers and to ensure that returns are managed in accordance with company policy
Ensure that vehicles loaned out to customers, (courtesy etc.) is done in accordance with company procedure
