Recruitment’s Forward Lady…
Rising through the ranks from Administrator to Managing Director, Leanne went on to win the Forward Ladies category of Corporate Leader back in 2011.
After speaking with Leanne, it was clear how passionate she is about giving others the same chance to climb the career ladder.
“Here at Jobwise our vision is to create a world where everyone loves their job – and our mission is to change the face of recruitment by offering a unique high touch service that really delivers results.
Every member of the management team have grown organically, starting in trainee roles and developing to learn every aspect of the business before progressing. With this in mind, I launched a new career structure aimed at training and developing people from the very beginnings of their career with Jobwise.
My policy is to recruit and retain the best people and to ensure everyone shares in the continued success of the business. I am a keen networker and I’m constantly looking for new strategies to implement to ensure we keep one step ahead.
Our success is shown by the awards that Jobwise have won over the years, being listed in the Great place to Work awards for 4 consecutive years with the most recent 10th placing in the Great Place to Work 2015 list.
Having started my own career at Jobwise at grass roots level in 1993, I am keen to ensure that all employees are given a similar opportunity to grow and develop.
I’m extremely proud to be shortlisted in 2 categories for the North West Women in Business Awards for 2015 and looking forward to the awards ceremony in October.”
The North West Award ceremony is being held on the on 23rd October 2015 at the Radisson Blu Edwardian, Manchester and is sponsored by HSBC & Microsoft.
Fingers crossed for another fantastic result!
