About the role:

The role combines working as Personal Assistant to the Managing Director as well as co-ordinating the day to day office premises duties. Duties will include:

Providing full secretarial support for the Managing Director and other directors on a daily basis

Co-ordinating and arranging meetings and ensure board papers are sent out in advance

Producing correspondence and reports including taking, typing and distribution of minutes of meetings

Co-ordinating and scheduling diaries

Arranging travel and accommodation and producing itineraries for travel

Completing and co-ordinating company expense forms

Co-ordinating the day to day office duties,

Ordering and stock control of stationery and other office consumables  

Coordinating courier services and post

Responsibility for the office and kitchen stock, equipment and maintenance

Liaising with the landlord on various day to day management of the office premises

Coordinating provision of cleaning services

Managing and monitoring allocation of car park spaces to staff, arranging for new licenses, issuing car park passes

Assisting the Group HR Manager and Managers as and when required with routine HR administration including recruitment admin, absence management system updating and new starter administration

Assisting with recruitment campaigns and liaising with recruitment agencies

Assisting with new starter induction and training workshops

Acting as the first point of contact for Health & Safety queries,  monitoring and managing the health and safety requirements of the business

Skills and Experience required:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar senior PA role.  Office management and health and safety experience would be beneficial but is not essential. You will have excellent keyboard skills and strong skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

The benefits:

A salary of £20,000 to £25,000 depending on experience

21 days holiday plus bank holidays (including your birthday off), rising to 30 over time
