Barrier free opportunities for everyone

Back to news

We recognise that this is a small step in the move to creating barrier-free opportunities for everyone.

Jobwise is focused on recruiting and retaining high-quality professionals. And that means providing a positive, inclusive and accessible workplace for professionals with disabilities. Both for ourselves and the businesses for whom we recruit.

It’s a move in the right direction that we plan to build on, by increasing awareness within organisations to provide environments where all employees feel included, and have the tools and assistance in place, to support the needs of disabled people.

Build a career to be proud of

The bottom line is that we want to make a difference for disabled people – creating -barrier-free opportunities for everyone.

And the way we can do that, as a recruitment agency, is to promote, and support, individuals to thrive in the career they choose, regardless of their physical abilities.

Our aim is to provide equal opportunity to all professionals, enabling everyone to build a career they can be proud of, in an organisation they want to work in.

Our commitment

We are committed to:

  • ensure our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible
  • communicating and promoting vacancies
  • offering an interview to disabled people who meet the minimum criteria
  • create reasonable adjustments to support employees who acquires disability or long-term health conditions

Many organisations, Jobwise included, have got a long way to go to create a fully accessible environment for people with disabilities. We’re working on it and we look forward to continuing to do so.
