About the role:
Based in their modern offices and working as part of a friendly and upbeat team you will be liaising and co-ordinating with a variety of customers and working on busy and challenging projects:
Planning and implementing delivery schedules with both customers and suppliers to ensure the right materials are received to meet deadlines
Importing products from overseas using various international freight forwarders and co-ordinating all UK deliveries
Making sure international regulations are adhered to and producing documentation for customs clearance
Carrying out varied admin tasks including updating spreadsheets, purchase order processing and checking supplier invoices
Skills and experience required:
The ideal candidate will be a bright and ambitious graduate, possibly with office experience. Experience in a logistics or project based role would be interesting but graduates with no experience in this sector would also be considered. The role would definitely be suited to someone who is keen to develop and build a career. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask and be comfortable using Word and Excel.
A salary of £17,000 to £19,000 depending on experience
21 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 25 over time
