This Bolton based office of a worldwide company is looking for a Purchasing Administrator or Purchasing Assistant to join their team. They offer a salary of up to £18,000 with a superb benefits package including 25 days holiday, free parking, pension and life assurance.

About the role:
Working as part of the purchasing team you will assist them to ensure the department runs efficiently. Duties will include:
Processing of material purchase stock through purchase order creation and amendment, suppliers acknowledgement administration and goods inward
Administering weekly collections from suppliers and other collections where required
Filing and general administration
Progressing of orders placed and updating the system to reflect this
Other ad hoc duties where requested
Skills and Experience required:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a busy office administration role. Experience in a similar Purchasing Assistant or Purchasing Administrator would be beneficial but is not essential. You will be confident with excellent communication skills and keen to learn and develop. You will be comfortable using Word and Excel. Experience of SAP would be useful but training will be provided.
