What will you be doing as Marketing Manager?
- Overseeing a small marketing team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the marketing function to support sales growth and brand consistency. Duties will include:
- Provide strategic leadership for the marketing design team and overall marketing function
- Develop and implement the annual marketing strategy
- Contribute to business planning, culture, and performance as a member of the Leadership Team
- Lead, motivate, and develop the marketing team
- Set and manage marketing objectives, KPIs, budgets, and reporting
- Monitor market trends, customer insights, competitor activity, and sector opportunities
- Present quarterly marketing plans, progress updates, and recommendations to leadership
- Protect and strengthen the corporate brand across all channels
- Lead seasonal campaigns, product launches, category initiatives, and marketing activities
- Ensure consistency of messaging, visual identity, and tone of voice across all communications
- Develop and deliver marketing toolkits, campaigns, assets, and resources for local member use
- Oversee production of catalogues, brochures, POS materials, digital campaigns, email marketing, and social media content
- Manage the PR agency relationship to deliver annual plans
- Optimise digital channels to improve engagement and lead generation
- Analyse campaign performance and use insights to drive continuous improvement
- Manage departmental budgets and maximise return on marketing investment
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- Previous strong experience in a similar Marketing Manager role
- Experience of managing a marketing team
- Demonstrable successes delivering marketing campaigns
- Skilled in managing marketing budgets
- Qualified with a CIM or degree in marketing (or possibly another business based degree)
- Commercially minded
- Excellent communicator on all levels
- Comfortable with a wide range of MS Office and marketing software packages
